The Prototype 2022 is a ceramic sculpture by Dani Foroux, inspired by the original Sofia shoe. The sculpture the realization of the original, esoteric, sketches of the shoes.

Dani chases perfection. However, the artist knows perfection is a myth. That’s why he embraces the imperfection in Prototype 2022. Dani uses a material that looks best when it shows imperfections to make the perfect imperfect artwork.

This creates a Wabi-Sabi sculpture that embraces the little beautiful imperfections in life. In low light, one can perceive the bumps; when light shines on the sculpture it looks smooth. The imperfection the shapes allows the viewer to enjoy a different look from different perspectives.

The Prototype 2022 is a one-of-a-kind piece, and comes with a certificate of authenticity. The sculpture is presented in a FOROUX box.
